We're looking for a New Business Account Director to join the DECIDE. team.
We are open to applicants who are seeking a full time role, have a commercial mindset and a proven track record in managing and developing clients.

About You:

  • In-depth understanding of digital marketing and the ability to add value, by proposing solutions to meet current and prospective client’ differing objectives
  • A finger on the pulse of an ever-changing digital environment and thorough understanding of how to meet omni-channel expectation
  • A strategic thinker, with an interest and appetite for understanding the ‘why’ before recommending ‘what’ and ‘how’ a solution might be delivered 
  • A commercial mind-set and proven track record in managing and developing clients
  • Exceptional account management and relationship-building skills with a commercially astute approach
  • Demonstrate the ability to work independently, be resourceful and use your initiative 
  • Strong communication skills and natural ability to form and develop effective and beneficial business relationships
  • Thrive on working in a fast-paced and demanding but collaborative environment
  • Comfortable working in a mixed technical and creative environment
  • Enthusiastic, with a solution-focused attitude

Desirable strategic attributes and capabilities:

  • Experience of working within an agency environment
  • Experience of scoping and managing eCommerce projects/platforms
  • Understanding of brand communications in the context of consumer goods and the specific roles of digital within the marketing mix
  • Appreciation of what best practice looks like within both on AND offline channels (i.e. at home, online, in-store and on-the-go)
  • Knowledge of, and interest in, the challenge of delivering seamless integration of campaigns (i.e. to building brand equity AND driving sales)
  • FMCG experience ideal but not essential

You’ll be expected to lead on:
This role will primarily focus on securing future new project briefs for a fast growing part of DECIDE’s wider business - whether via existing clients or target prospects. The successful candidate will be able to hit the ground running, getting to know our digital offering in depth. This will give you the tools and confidence to lead in producing innovative and informative commercial proposals to secure additional business for DECIDE.

  • Providing guidance to current and future clients – and advising optimum solutions
  • Coordinating pitch responses and seeking out new opportunities to secure new business
  • Collaborating with internal stakeholders (of various specialisms) in the preparation of tailored proposals (within both pitch and ‘live’ brief scenarios)
  • Attending business development events and networking sessions to prospect and represent DECIDE
  • Assisting the wider team in accurately scoping projects out to the point of delivery (at which point the project will be passed to the Delivery team)
  • Maintaining relationships with appointed clients including regular face to face catch ups to explore other opportunities with them
  • Assisting in partnering with client teams and agency partners on development of appropriate Digital Strategy
  • Confidently contribute thought leadership both internally and with clients

  • 3+ years agency experience
  • Digital campaign experience (websites/social/email)
  • Excellent UX/UI understanding
  • Must be a PhotoShop guru
  • Expert knowledge of CSS / HTML5
  • Experience in Email Marketing
  • Experience in working with larger brands
  • Confident in creating design prototypes
  • Love learning and adopting new skills
  • Have an eye for attention to detail and a strong sense of design in every aspect


  • Experience in working with larger brands
  • Extensive portfolio
  • Working knowledge of Adobe CS / Photoshop
